  I live in Port Hope and have eaten at the Railside many times, mainly in the diner. The service has always been excellent. The fries are second to none. The burger of the week is always interesting. I really can't understand the negative reviews. The service here is quite outstanding. The portions are generous.

  Love this place. Eat there a lot. Great food, friendly people, service is excellent. I would highly recommend the Rail side to anybody. Go there for our Anniversay meal each year.

  Great food! Only restaurant I know that offers a discount for anniversaries and birthdays. Sign up for emails and give them your dates, they will send you a certificate for a half price entree for the recipient(s). This is the only place I know of that is willing to do this. Most other restaurants might offer you a free dessert of their choice. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

  Early fathers day dinner with the family. First off I would like to thank Maria Begopoulos for accommodating our group of 12 at a busy restaurant, which then became 14. Then there is our server Andrew, a huge thank you for not letting my dad get to you, anybody that has eaten with my dad knows what he can be like, again a huge thank you to the staff here. Great dinner, nice setting amazing food and service and I will definitely be back here again.

  This is way better than places like the keg or even Baton Rouge , the steaks and chicken here are cooked beyond perfection. Mouth watering taste, friendly and welcoming staff. If you haven't already been, you must go try them. Very well priced for the food.
